Sleningford Watermill 2018

Sleningford Watermill Caravan & Camping Park – Sleningford and the Surrounding Area

The park is delightfully situated in river meadows amongst stunning scenery beside the impressive River Ure as it flows south-east towards Ripon. Many guests are content to base themselves in the park and the immediate surrounding area, where there are lovely walks and welcoming pubs/restaurants. However for those wishing to explore the area, the park is happily placed within easy reach of the centre of York, many charming Yorkshire market towns and villages and is on the doorstep of the stunning Yorkshire Dales. There is much to do and see in the area, appealing to a wide range of interests. Our information room carries a stock of leaflets provided by the tourist board and we are always happy to make recommendations and give advice where requested.

Ripon, just 5 miles away has a good selection of shops, banks, restaurants, a cinema, many pubs and places of interest. The smaller market town of Masham about 4 miles away also has various attractions (including two breweries!) and a small number of shops and a bank around an attractive market place.
